Make Christmas Snappers

on these things - JANUARY 2011

CLERGY
Clergy
, according to the dictionary, means "set of all men who have received Holy Orders, more or less, or belong to a religious order "(María Moliner). These men, because their management by a church, are qualified to carry out certain functions that ministries and the laity can not, such as baptism, preside and administer the sacrament, preaching and teaching with authority.
So, what is wrong with that concept? There are professionals in medicine and other professions, and are licensed to do things that the rest of us can not do. Is there something wrong with the practice of recognizing a professional caste within the church?
Yes the error is simply that the clergy is something that the Scriptures do not teach us or we see it practiced on them, especially when it comes to the New Testament and the Church of Jesus Christ. In fact, the New Testament teaching vigorously opposes the idea of \u200b\u200bsuch divisions and distinctions among the people of God. Someone may ask: "Are not ordered elders in every church?" Yes, they recognized elders in each church to provide the congregation of grazing, but they had no special privileges and have the clergy of today. Not required for the elderly which would give all education, and chair or administer the sacrament, or do they only baptisms. Did not exist then kinds of "clergy" and "lay" people of Christianity recognized today. The New Testament churches operated at both the congregation, and made all these things even before that recognize them elderly.
Scripture emphasize the priesthood of each believer: "Ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 2:5). For example, in the Lord's Supper, when several brothers stand to praise and worship the Lord, and exercise the priesthood of the sons of God. There does not preside over any man, but the Lord. The clergy deny that priesthood in practice, because only the "ordained" can lead services, and if any exception, it is only with the permission of the "ordered" because if not ...
The exercise of spiritual gifts is also restricted by the presence of the clergy. While allowing a small exercise in Sunday school or some informal study, mainly the privilege of speaking to the whole congregation is reserved for the clergy, ie those who have been ordained or licensed especially for this church. Many men spend their lives sitting quietly in a local bank in the meeting, having learned that public speaking is something reserved for the "shepherds." But the Bible says: "Having then gifts differing according to the grace given us, whether prophecy, according to the measure of faith, or ministry, to serve, or he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation ... " (Rom. 12:6-8a). All believers are endowed with a spiritual gift (1 Cor 12:7) for the benefit of the church, and each is owed to extend the opportunity to develop and employ His gift, "for profit" .
clergy The concept of limiting the authority and freedom of the Holy Spirit to speak to the people of God. Someone may have a gift very prominent and have much knowledge in the Word of God, but there are times when the Holy Spirit wants to speak through other siblings. In 1 Corinthians 14:31 we read: "For ye may all prophesy one by one so that all may learn and all may be." The sovereign move of the Holy Spirit is confronted or challenged by the artificial imposition of the clergy.
Use Title is very common among the clergy, but it is absolutely forbidden by the Lord Jesus Christ: "But you are not that you called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ, and all ye are brethren. And do not call anyone your father on earth: for one is your Father who is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ " (Mt. 23:8-10). But today the clergy jealously cling to their titles: "Father," "Reverend", "Doctor", "Pastor," "teacher" and the other compound the problem by giving other qualifying as "eminence", "theologian," the worker "," the servant of God, "as if others do not do or do not serve, and so forth. However, in the true Church there is no better title to the common title of "brother" or "sister."
Then, a New Testament assembly should abandon the term 'clergy, and to proclaim and practice the priesthood of all believers. Such meeting will encourage the development and function of spiritual gifts, thus leading to the Holy Spirit for Him to move among His people. There will be a rejection of the use of Special titles and descriptions that raise some to a higher level than their brothers, and institutions such as seminars and institutes that promote this religious caste system. We must remember the Lord's words: "He who is greatest among you shall be your servant" (Matt. 23:11). Doing these things will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Donald

What are you talking
AFTER MEETING?

"Then, fired people and went into the house, and approaching him his disciples, he said unto us the parable of the tares of the field" (Matt. 13:36). Matthew Henry comments:
"Those who desire to be wise at all, should be to discern and seize opportunities, especially to talk with Christ, alone, in private meditation and prayer. It is also very healthy when we return from the solemn meeting, discuss what we hear in it. Through these conversations we can help each other to understand remember and be affected by what we hear. We lose the benefit of many sermons by light and useless discussions that follow. " Translated

"RESPECT TO ALL?

"Having respect for the person of the wicked, to pervert the right just is not good" (Proverbs 18:5).
On the latter text William MacDonald said: "Not only is good, but it is quite wrong to favor the poor. And it is equally wrong to deny justice to the fair. Bias is not the only perversion of justice that should be avoided. Consider the following: bribery, false witnesses, the exclusion or deliberate refusal of witnesses to prejudice or affect the decision of a case, the admission of secret testimony ("confidential") against the accused, verdicts default (unjust court or unauthorized) ...
is one of three times in Proverbs warns us against of partiality or respect of persons. The other appointments are 24:23-25 \u200b\u200band 28:21. "

The Kingdom of Christ and the Law of Christ

Jesus Christ is Lord, and we are His servants (1 Cor 4:1). Christ is the governor and we his subjects (Jude 4). Christ is the Captain and we His soldiers (2 Tim. 2: 3-4, Eph. 6:10-17, 1 Thess. 5:8-9, 2 Cor 6:7) ...
The kingdom has a law in the kingdom of the Son is the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2). Therefore, it is also believed to obey ... Unbelief is
you like disobedience (Rom. 10:3). The conversion to Him is an act of obedience and subjection (Acts 26:19), and the message of the gospel is a command to repent (Acts 17:30) ...
The believer is not in any way without law (1 Cor 9:21; Gal. 5:13), but now is under the law of Christ. Must comply with the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2) and walk in obedience of faith (Rom. 1:5; 15:18; 16:26). The royalty will reign with grace over us (Romans 5:21).
This law of the New Testament is as illustrated below:

1. Its origin: the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2).
2. Nature: the law of liberty (James 1:25; 2:12).
3. Its contents: the law of love (Romans 13:8-12, James. 2:8, 1 Tim. 1:5, Gal. 6:2).
4. His power: the law of the Spirit (Rom. 8:2).
5. Its effect: the law of the Spirit of life (Rom. 8:2).
6. Value: the perfect law (James 1:25).
7. Dignity: the royal law (James 2:8).

Salvador "or judge?

"God is love" . God loves us all. Thus He showed His love to a man a good day's walk along the lakeshore. I was walking, when suddenly stumbled and fell with all his clothes and shoes in cold water. Could not swim, but luckily at that time became one that saw him fall and jumped, risking his own life, and saved him from certain death. When both had returned to the mainland, who had been saved thanked his savior as he had done.
Shortly afterwards the same man had to appear before the court of that city because of some crime. The was very amazed to realize that the judge of the court was the same savior of his life a few weeks ago. The man accused it was fine, because I thought: "Now indeed run away with a reprimand or at least a suspended sentence because the judge wants me well."
In the course of reviewing the judge recognized the man who had fallen into the lake. As the questioning continued the judge realized that the man was actually guilty of a felony and sentenced to the penalty provided by law. This course was a disappointment to the man convicted, and on leaving the court told the judge: "Not long ago you saved my life, how can you pay me now?" The judge replied: "Then I was truly their savior, but now I am your judge. A just judge is obliged to apply the law. "
Many people believe that God will overlook the bad in their lives, because it is a God of love. Such thinking is extremely dangerous because it ignores justice and holiness of God. Dear reader, please read in your Bible what God says in Romans chapter 3.
Savior Jesus Christ is now of all who accept him as their personal Savior. "Christ suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring God" (1 Peter 3:18), this was to extend your helping hand to us. "Now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor 6:2).
But if someone now wants to grab his outstretched hand, then may soon have to appear before him without his helping hand extended. Then Christ will no longer be your Savior, but it will be his judge. The Scripture says that God "hath appointed a day in which judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all by raising Him from the dead " (Acts 17:31). It will not help referring to the love of God.
However, we still have the time of grace. Still you can accept the invitation of Jesus: "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matt. 11:28). Verily He said "Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and shall not come into condemnation but has passed from death to life" (John 5:24). "In Neither is there salvation there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved " (Acts 4:12)

Things Missing
in the New Testament Church

Randy Amos
In the Old Testament God gave explicit instructions to Israel regarding worship and service in his house, the tabernacle or temple. Many of these instructions intentionally missing in the epistles to the Church of God in Christ. Why?

Missing: a physical altar for sacrifices. Specific details were given to Israel on the measures, the color and structure of the altar (Ex. 27).
Jesus Christ is our Altar . No details about the altar in the New Testament because "there is no more offering for sin." The Lord Jesus "offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins. " physical altars become obsolete, because "We have an altar" - death is unique and perfect Son of God (Heb. 10:12, 18; 13:10). Faith clings to the finished sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Missing: a man on earth that carries high priesthood over the people of God. This man was the chief representative of the people of God in the Old Testament. When he died, another took its place (Ex. 28, Lev. 16, No. 20:28).
Christ is our priest by His Resurrection. now believers are not under authority visible, earthly representative (high priest). But we "a great high priest who passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God" - and He never dies. Faith grasps the invisible and heavenly Christ and finds its all in His intercession alive and everlasting.
Missing: priestly division selected to chair and serve in the house of God, and with costumes and titles from the remainder of the people (the "laity"). They were given very specific instructions and only to the tribe of Levi (Aaron and his sons) in Exodus 28 and 29.
The Blood of Christ Set to All Believers . Now there is no such division in the people of God that the blood of Christ is dedicated to all believers to be priests (Rev. 1:5, 1 Peter 2:5, 9). Lay becomes obsolete. So in the New Testament are missing instructions for special clothing for the clergy and titles for men are forbidden by the Lord because we are all brothers (Matt. 23:8). All titles as Lord and Master Rabbi (Teacher / Pastor) are for Christ risen and glorified. Only God has the title of Father (Matt. 23:9). Faith grasps the power of the blood and glory of the risen Christ.

missing: limited areas to serve the people of God. The service area sacred, the holy and the holy of holies were obstructed by a door and a veil. In Israel only the priests (men) could eat special bread in the sanctuary (Lev. 6:16-18). And only the high priest had access to the most holy day of atonement - Moses at first. There Moses received commandments (revelation) of God. Then communicated to the common people that instruction received from God in the holy of holies. That's how they got the Word of God (Lev. 16 / Ex. 25:22, 30:6, 36 / No. 7:89 - 8:2, 17:10).
The Blood of Christ satisfies God and gives us perfect access. now tells "brothers" (not only Moses or the high priest) to have confidence or freedom to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus. (To access the Holy of Holies was needed first enter the holy place). The New Testament teaches that now all believers can partake of the bread and wine into the Lord's Supper, including women (1 Cor 10:16-17 / 11:23-29). What a new freedom and privilege - and all by the grace of our Lord Jesus! (2 Cor 8:9).
We are no longer limited to a special man who has exclusive access to the revelation of the Word of God that we hear from God, but we all can enter the presence of God and receive the revelation of His Word through His Spirit (1 Cor 2:9-16), and then use it to build each other. While the gifts of expression vary, the right of unrestricted access. Faith grabs the fact that the veil has been torn, and fit, not to trust in himself or in his studies, but in His precious blood.

Missing: a worship team to lead the worship (also known as a choir or group of musicians and singers). Special instructions were given about the separation of skilled singers and musicians to sing praises, while ordinary people listened and then bowed in worship (1 Chronicles 25:1-7, 2 Chron 29: 25-30).
The Spirit of Christ Adult Children ago. instructions of the living Lord to His church does not even allude to this. For now all believers have His Spirit living in them and are seen as well as adult children versus children (Galatians 4:1-7). Now everyone can sing in the fullness of the Spirit and make melody in their hearts to the Lord (Eph. 5:18-20). Faith with the spirit of Christ and the result will be entirely supernatural songs with us.
Yes, we are dead to the old, and our "life is hidden with Christ in God" (Col. 2 / 3:1-4).
Ve por la fe en el celestial Señor Jesucristo; crucified, risen and ascended, and who also now lives in us by His Holy Spirit. This is the gospel. And the gospel of Christ is what the New Testament church should illustrate its function. "Christ is everything!"

Ni blood is no altar, and offering ceased;
No fire or smoke up today, there will be no more lamb.
But lo! The blood of Jesus,
That removes the evil and the man gives health.

Lord With gratitude, I see blood flowing,
That gave peace to the sinner, triumphing in place.
Great victory over the kingdom of Satan,
is not an enemy, or another fight there.

Lord With gratitude, I accept Your grace, surpassing
our bad, the Father is this love Love
eternal Son who died,
And love of the Holy Spirit of the Triune God.

Lord With gratitude, acójome to lock,
In the hope you give us, which is firmly anchored,
the veil where the Precursor,
entered, and now lives for us before God.
- Horatius Bonar (1808-1889)
