SIX SIMPLE SECRETS TO STUDY THE BIBLE
(Part II)
The second secret has to do with our eyes, must be "eyes to see." In Matthew 6:22-23 our Lord tells us
"The lamp of the body is the eye, so if thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light, but if thine eye be evil, thy whole body will be dark. So, if the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! "
The good eye is the vision is not impeded by anything, which keeps out the light and see clearly. What can block the view? If we examine the context, which comes just before and after these two verses, we find that before the Lord spoke to treasures (vv.19-21), and then spoke of "riches" (v. 24 .) Materialism and the worries it brings are a major impediment in spiritual things. The rich, greedy and they want to be rich, do not like this, but it is. Many have trouble seeing what the Bible says clearly, because they have interests to defend, such an effort, or a lifestyle, or possessions that do not want to discard them, as was the case of the rich young ruler (Mt.19: 16-30). Do you know that a dime can block sunlight so that you see nothing? Yes, if you place it in front of the eye, can cause the light does not come. And there are people whose view is blocked, and do not see clearly the light of the Word of God because they put their eyes on the money, houses, cars, clothing, or other material things. The Lord called the eye of these people: "evil." Obviously there is a problem that increasingly in the professed church of God. The Lord speaks to the church of Laodicea in Revelation 3:17, where we again see a relationship between wealth and blindness:
"You say, 'I am rich, I have prospered, and nothing I have need: and knowest not that thou art wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. "
In verse 18 the Lord advised him that the church should do so that he does not vomit in his mouth:
"Therefore, I advise you ... anoint thine eyes with drops, so you see ".
What is this medicine, but the Word of God applied to us with the power of the Holy Spirit? So she can heal the evil eye, putting the things of this world in its place, and convincing and cleansing of greed, greed, materialism, love of the world and what is in the world. Well, how's your eye? Do you see it? Is there something you always look or behold is blocking, impiety in the light of the Word of God in your life? Then our Lord says in Luke 16:11-12:
"If in handling worldly wealth not been faithful Who will entrust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful outside, who will give what is yours? "
The real treasures, and the true riches are spiritual things, and among them is the understanding and appreciation of the riches the Word of God, which are spiritual gems. But obviously the Lord will not discover these treasures to the person cheating in the matter of their property, specifically the money. This is a little known secret, much less wanted, of course. Our stewardship somehow affects our ability to understand the Bible. Someone may object saying that This sounds like money can buy a good understanding of the Bible. Not so, friend, not a question of buying anything. He who gives money as Simon Magus (Acts 8) waiting to buy something from God, is seriously wrong. God sees the motives of the heart, and know whether what we are doing is out of love for Him and with a genuine interest in serving well and be of a good steward or not. Those who are faithful in showing very little money, says the Lord God is faithful in most, and gives them more light and understanding of the Bible. Now think about your stewardship of money. Are you faithful or unfaithful? I hope you're not like some who love money and material goods, and expect God also gives them a deeper understanding of His Word. They do not want to follow the Lord who became poor, but they want him to help them know much about the Bible. It does not work that way. Review your use of money and how you use it on the kingdom of God, the advancement of the gospel and church growth. The Jew under the law was a tithe (10%) to God. It was not a gift but a debt. "Giving less a believer under grace? The love that has redeemed and enriched forever does not lead to pettiness. Think carefully how you manage what God gives you, and do not steal (Malachi 3:8-10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).

HAZARD worldly education
"Education, the great abracadabra and fraud of all times seeks to prepare to live and is prescribed as the panacea for all ills , from juvenile delinquency to premature aging. For the most part only serves to increase the stupidity, inflate the arrogance, promote disbelief and let those who are subject to the mercy of lavacerebros with press, radio and television at their disposal. "
(From "Jesus Rediscovered" by Malcolm Muggeridge)
"Too often young people raised in Christian homes are trained in the world rather than to the Savior, to hell rather than heaven. Question today about current Christian parents for what purpose they are training their children. Many of them answered: "To have a good job," or "To be financially independent" or "That could raise a family and live with some comfort. "
"We want to attend schools with a reputation, the more prestigious the better. We want you to get jobs in an institution that has prestige in the community. We see them well married, that is, get someone with a certain social status ... We also wish to devote their free evenings and Sundays at the local church. "

sacrificial offerings
THE LORD AND HIS WORK
Because he was given in sacrifice for us to come and die for our sins and made us spiritually rich (2 Cor 8:9).
Because He offers us the opportunity to treasure the "Bank of Heaven" (Luke 16:9, Matthew 6:20).
For where your treasure is, there is focused the interest of our heart (Luke 12:33-34).
Because everything we have belongs to God (1 Chronicles 29:14), we should let him use it freely. Because
withhold tithes and offerings is "robbing God" (Mal. 3:8).
because as we give, God will give us (Luke 6:38, 2 Cor 9:6). Because
generous gifts to God leads to blessing, and leads to no loss (Proverbs 11:24-25).
Because Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).
Because after we have given liberally, the Lord promises to supply all our needs (Phil. 4:18-19).
For the Lord commands us to offer up regular, systematic and proportion (by percentage) (1 Cor 16:2). The normal way of giving is through the church local.
Because God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7).
it is better to love and give God to love and cherish money (Matt. 6:24).
Because the offering is an act of worship to God (Matt. 26:7-11).
For the Lord commanded offerings highlighted and sacrificially (Luke 21: 1-4).
Because He offers us the opportunity to treasure the "Bank of Heaven" (Luke 16:9, Matthew 6:20).
For where your treasure is, there is focused the interest of our heart (Luke 12:33-34).

ALL OR NOTHING
(Part I)
Suddenly
ALL OR NOTHING
(Part I)
Suddenly
the ground beneath me began to move, I heard a sound like a violent wind and someone yelled "Earthquake!"
I was at the post office in Seattle, Washington when this happened. Everyone started to run the panic that came over him, but there was nowhere to hide. If the earthquake had lasted a little more, almost certainly would have collapsed but that building was of stone.
few days later, someone knocked on the door of our house. Opening it, I saw before me a man about 45 years of age, smoking while waiting. He greeted me and began talking with profanity, and he emphasized his points with words, taking in vain the name of God and Savior Jesus Christ. Said he observed that the earthquake broke part of the chimney of our house. He, as the owner of a company of builders, called me into giving him the job of repairing the chimney. I asked how much this would cost. When I got the price I told him that was more than I could afford, as well as non-users, had thought up and remove myself.
The man was a good salesman, and tried to make me see the value to repair it properly. So that way we talked for a while longer at the door, and all the time he was using profanity.
Finally I said: "I can not accept your services but I have something of value that I would giving her. " I offered her a booklet explaining the gospel. He accepted and opened immediately curious to see what it was. When he saw that it was Christian literature, I asked, "What church are you?"
I replied, and he smiled, shook my hand and said: "I offer the hand as a member of another congregation of the same name - we are of the same faith! "
I looked for a moment, wondering whether or not shaking hands. Finally I gave him my hand and said: "If you're a member of an evangelical church, but you are not Christian. You need to be born again. Need to become of yourself to God's way. "
"What you mean that I am not a Christian? "she asked.
"The way you talk tells me what kind of man you are," I replied. "I mean the way you use the name of God, that shows me you're not Christian."
"My way of speaking has nothing to do with me being a Christian or not," he said. "We are saved through faith in Christ, not good works. God has promised us eternal life as a free gift based on what Christ did. We can not do to deserve a gift. "
"Okay," I said, "but God has set certain conditions that we must meet to receive His gift of life freely. Although you do not demand anything of the person who make a gift that does not mean that God is so, that he has no requirements or demands do not only because you would not. The Bible clearly teaches that there are conditions that must be met in which they wish to receive the divine gift of eternal life. "
talked a little more, but neither had the time to go and address the matter at this meeting. But now, dear reader, you and I can do it. Let us consider what is that to receive eternal life as God's gift.
The most important possession you have is life. But beyond that, the greatest asset you might have is eternal life. Therefore, the most tragic mistakes in how to receive eternal life.
the pagans look and think, how tragic, how sad that they put their trust in these false religions and are so deceived. But there is a worse tragedy, that of the millions who profess to be Christians - even evangelical - but without knowing what goes. They profess to have eternal life through Christ the Savior, but still lost - lost but with a false certainty that causes them to think that all is well!
The Apostle Paul warned of this in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, saying
"Because time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up teachers after their own lusts, and removed from hearing the truth and turn aside to fables. "
Sinners welcome anyone who can handle the Word of God deceitfully to say with apparent evidence that they can continue in their sins and still be saved if they only believe in Christ as their Savior.
This warning is for you and me. Does it really have been converted from a selfish, sinful life to the true faith and obedience to Christ?
What the Bible really teaches about how to obtain eternal life? First, let me give you some basic information that maybe you knew, but there are others who do not know.
The man was perfect when God created him. Something wonderful to read in the Bible is that God created man in His image. He created us to be like Him. Then, He is our Father in a much more real than our earthly fathers. The future of the children of God is absolutely out of this world.
However, we read in Genesis, the first book of the Bible, that mankind did not stay in this perfect state in which God created. As our Father and Creator, is both the right and hope of God that we honor him and he obey. But from the first man, Adam, to each of us, we have our own way instead of walking in the way of God. Did not hear a lot of people say things like: "Everyone has their ideas," "I have my own religion", "everyone is free" and so forth? So, is not it? Virtually
what we have said is: "I will not let God tell me I have to do. I'm gonna live my life as I please. I have certain desires and ambitions, and I will make sure they are done. " Even if you've used these same words, yes you've said in other ways. We have all expressed
that "I will not have God as King of my life. I am the King, the governor of my life. " Then, in our lives we have dethroned you are entitled to be King over us, which is a crime of treason, rebellion against the government of heaven. Each in our own lives, have usurped the throne that belongs to God!
What in the world when a subject is rebelling against his king and sets himself as king? The answer, of course, is that the true king used all his power and right to hold the rebellion. This is exactly what happened in our case in our relationship with God. We have rebelled against God, though in very different ways, but we have, each in his way. And God says that because of that we will be punished with death. What would happen in the celestial kingdom of God if he let the rebels go there? The answer is obvious: if he did this, his whole kingdom would be in danger.
God is wise, powerful and just. He has pronounced death sentence on all sinners, saying: "The soul who sins shall die." Ezekiel 18:4 is just one example of the biblical texts where God pronounces this sentence. With these and many other words God has decreed the death of those who rebel against Him as their King and Lord.
However, an earthly king can be removed and a new take place, but not the case with God. He allowed the rebels to live for some time, to seek reconciliation. This is because God, in addition to being God's wisdom, power and justice, is also the God of love. God our Father loves those He created in His image. He wants all His children they are true, children that He can bless with eternal life. While humanity is lost and under condemnation by his own fault, God has provided a way by which the missing men may be saved.
This is what God has done to save our undoing. He sent His Son, Jesus, the heavenly courts, to be like a man. The plan was prophesied in the writings of the Old Testament hundreds of years before that happens. It happened when Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin in Bethlehem, Israel is now almost two thousand years. God sent His Son, who knew he was not sent to rebel against him had always been his faithful companion.
read that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), but Jesus Christ was the exception. About Christ we read: "which did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth" (1 Peter 2:22).
God sent His Son to live a life it would be a blessing to mankind, and to bear witness to His faithfulness to God the Father. Then God allowed evil men (and religious!) Crucify His Son on a cross. He was nailed to the tree, where he shed his blood. The fair, which was without sin, died for the sins of others. In the New Testament, in John 3:16, we have these words: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have life Eternal . Jesus Christ the Son of God gave His life on the suffering and death on the cross for your sins and mine. God promises to accept
This sacrifice made and consummated and by His Son in your place, so that instead of running over you the death sentence that has been enacted, can be forgiven and saved. This will make if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and as Lord. We want to emphasize this, you must receive Him as Lord as well as Savior. There are many today who want to Christ as their Savior, because they want to escape punishment for their sins, but are not willing to surrender to Him as your Lord that He governs his life. How sad!
God does not promise forgiveness through Jesus Christ to those who are not willing to turn from their rebellion against Him The condition upon which God offers forgiveness of sins and eternal life is that the sinner to yield to his God and be willing to obey and honor Him as Lord and as your governor.
There are two things necessary for the salvation of a lost soul. It has often been said that there is only one thing necessary, and trust Christ as Savior. But that's not exactly correct. We are saved by grace through faith, it is true. I believe that salvation by faith includes two very necessary and I invite you to consider this issue with me.
