SIX SIMPLE SECRETS TO STUDY THE BIBLE
(Part IV)
The fourth secret is timing. Ephesians 5:15-16 gives us the following advice: "See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." There is much waste of time, lots of light and frivolous use of time, as if it were an unlimited, renewable resource, but it is not. Every day you have less time than the previous day. How long you have left, how can afford to lose things without eternal value? The fool does not look like go and spend the time, not use it. The sage considers how to use time well, and discipline to use it. Friend, you and I choose to be wise or foolish. This has many applications, but here we talk about the time you need to study the Bible, because it is essential to have time to study. What little attention is paid to this secret! You can not study the Bible in his spare time, or leisure, and study the Bible is not for the idle. What we are going to cheat? It's work, and requires the exclusive focus for a period of time you spend studying completely. Here meat is often accused, we do not like to sit down and dedicate the work to study. There are things as basic observations, truths, and precepts that we can see, appreciate and collect in a short time, they're like some "flowers" spiritually speaking. They are there on the surface, the sight and reach of almost everyone. But God designed the Bible so that other discoveries, truths, precepts, lessons for our lives that are like jewels and precious metals to be mine. You can not make these treasures at random, or looking slightly out of time and effort. As the miner must work hard and sweat to get the gold and silver, so it is with the study of the Bible. For those who have difficulty remain seated, almost design a study with a seat belt does not open for a predetermined time. Maybe then they learn the discipline to sit and applied to the task of studying!
And speaking of time, we must recognize that time must be devoted exclusively to the Bible. You can not study the Bible and watching TV. May not even have a TV, because time-wasting. Where Is Your Heart ?
Text: Matthew 6:19-23 Christ warns against laying up treasures on earth. A matter of living for this life or the coming kingdom. Christ says first the advantages of transferring our treasure to heaven, where neither hinder nor thieves, nor rust nor moth. Then, touch the heart of the matter, that is, the human heart. States: "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (6:21). The Lord wants our heart. Do not want us to have double vision, with eyes on the treasures in heaven and earthly at the same time (6:22-23). That would prevent us from seeing anything clearly. He does not want to work for two masters. This would be unsatisfactory to both a master to another. We can not live for the world and heaven. We can not serve God and money.
Note that the two prohibitions have to do with sight. We can make justice to be seen of men, to win glory, or we can do it secretly, trusting in our Father which seeth in secret so that He rewards us openly. So we must ask where are wearing our eyes - in earthly or heavenly treasures. Have we tried to focus on both the result of double vision? Our eyes symbolize our ambitions and motivations - where we focus. The true follower of Christ say, has its eyes on the heavenly reward. The man with double vision is dark (6:23). It is a false disciple.

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the believers living in Rome . Consider what he says there about this issue - look it up in Romans 6:1-23. These comments were written to warn about an error. It is the mistake of believing that if we sin and God is forgiving, this is more for the glory of God so was manifest more mercy and grace. Paul says: "What shall we say? But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, ye have your fruit to holiness, and the end eternal life. The third secret is very simple, but little loved. It is a willing to obey. So it is unloved because invade the citadel of our being, the will. The same goes for "weight", "lira", "franc" and "deutchmark" but have disappeared and now everyone knows the word "euro". And yet that is, "dollar" and "pound." There is absolutely no work on our part that may add to the work that Christ perfected and completed by us when he suffered "once" for our sins on the cross. Even the work that is in our regeneration is something done by God. The surface can be reformed man - many have - but can not regenerate. However, the decision to surrender to God only can take us. No other being in heaven or on earth can make the decision for you. It is based on your sincere decision to surrender to Him that God forgives you and gives you the justification through Jesus Christ. Then you have eternal life, which God promises this: "If ye continue grounded and steadfast in the faith, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard" (Col.1: 23). Anyone who truly born again will be what this verse, because life is not a religious reform, but the very life of God.
Christ had much to say about this when he was on earth. Let to observe the things he said, one by one. I would like to invite you to look in the Gospel according to Mark 8:34-36.

Christ spoke these words to a crowd of unsaved people and His disciples. Somehow He said: "Any of you who want to follow me, here's what to do. Must first deny himself. "
Friend, we have ascended the throne in our own lives, but Christ says here that we must deny this "right." We abdicate the throne and allow the governor just and due to rise there and rule in our lives.
is true that this is not easy for us because everyone wants to do his own will in life. So, something strong has to go, and Christ teaches us what this "something." He says: "If anyone would come after me must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." What does that mean to take up our cross?
Many people have misconceptions about what these words mean. Some say they have a physical, health, which can not be cured, and that is the cross they have to carry.
But this physical problem is not a cross. Not chosen, did not. This physical problem is a disease.
Others say they are in financial distress, for example, and that is the cross they have to carry. No, they chose it voluntarily.
There are many other problems and difficulties that come in life, to which many people have mistakenly called the "cross" they have to carry.
A cross is an instrument of death, is a place to die! Jesus died on His cross. He also calls us to the death. He is telling us that if we want to live here before, WE HAVE TO DIE! Christ does not speak
physical death here. He talks about the death of your own stubborn will. He demonstrates through these words that the resignation is necessary, the unconditional surrender of one who desentronó God in his life and took the throne for himself. That has to be rejected so strong and absolute that resembles Christ nailed to a cross and put to death.
This king has caused you no less than nothing but trouble. He who has the right to reign in your life has a better plan for your life than you have. He is all-wise. Then, He knows what is best for you. He is also love, and will do to you what better. You can certainly rely on a King so wonderful, wise and loving. Nobody ever loved you and love you more than He has not forgotten you even for a moment, not even during all the time you have lived in rebellion.
In the next verse says: "For whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it." Here Christ says that if you decide to save your life for your own pleasure and your own will surely lose it. But, says he, whoever loses his life because of good teacher and for the wonderful message He has for the world, it certainly saved his life for all eternity.
Some readers of this book can say that this verse speaks of rewards, awards that Christians receive in eternity with God. Some say that those who live their lives "Christian" for themselves, have no reward, but those who live for the Lord will reward. However, the following verse shows that Christ is not speaking exhaustively rewards. This question of surrender to the Lord or not is a matter of life or death! "Just in the next verse Christ says " Because What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul? "
Would you dare to twist the words of God to mean anything except what they say clearly?
you say you still think that we are saved by faith alone, and that our works have nothing to do with our salvation. In this case, we will look at other words given by our Lord that has to do with it. Let's consider something he said in the Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter seven, beginning with verse 21. Consider this:
"Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven." He says very clearly that those who trust in their own faith will be saved, but those whose faith is that which results in obedience to His Father in heaven.
receive God's forgiveness because Christ suffered and died on the cross for us. This is the good news of the gospel. However, God clearly teaches that forgiveness does not apply unless there is a true repentance and surrender, yielding will the Lord. The faith we have in Christ must be trust in Him as Lord as well as Savior. Only in this case you will receive God's forgiveness and the assurance of eternal life.
Hear more of what Christ says here in His Sermon on the Mount: "Many say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in thy name cast out demons in your name perform many miracles? And then will I declare I never knew you: depart from me, you evildoers " (Matthew 7:22-23).
Here we see that there are people who have prophesied, that is, supposedly spoken from the Spirit of God. Still have cast out devils and done many wonders in the name of Christ, but continued to live for themselves, the desires of his own mind and his own heart. Christ says they are evildoers. They still live in rebellion against him, although they try to assuage their own consciences to work for the Lord, but all the while living for themselves.
Maybe someone is saying now in his own heart: "But I still think that everything you do is put faith in Christ salvation. Christ is the Rock on which I stand firm. Well, what do you say "stand", or build upon Christ the Rock? Just the words of the Lord here in the Sermon on the Mount tells us what he meant.
"Therefore everyone who hears these words, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man who built his house upon the rock" (Matthew 7:24). Do you realize that the person who hears the words of Christ and does them is like the man who built his house upon the rock? Christ is the rock of your salvation if you believe you have abdicated the throne of your heart and you've invited to take the throne and reign in your life. But if instead of doing this, you're still doing your own will and not Christ, you are living in rebellion against him in this condition there is no promise in the Word of God in Christ to see your life as a house based on a rock.
But later in this text, Jesus says about the disobedient:
"But everyone who hears these words and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man who built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and were vehemently against that house, and fell, and great was its fall " (Matthew 7:26-27). Yes, friend, is terrible and ruinous fall of such a person is that his soul will be lost! 
SIX SIMPLE SECRETS TO STUDY THE BIBLE

The third secret is very simple, but little loved. It is a willing to obey. So it is unloved because invade the citadel of our being, the will. unbroken Will Live is a danger in the lives of all Christians, no matter their age or how many years they've been in the Lord. To combat this threat and continue to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord (2 Peter 3:18) everyone must live as a living sacrifice, as Paul advises in Romans 12:1-2, and practice daily self-denial Lucas 9:23. Brokenness and humility are not only desirable, but necessary, both are essential. You can dispense with university degrees, diplomas and certificates, human recognition, material goods, and even your personal rights, but not a poor and humble spirit that trembles at the Word of God (Isa. 66:2, Matt 5:3). But, how little is this attitude today! The Word of God we hear answers like: "Yes, but ...", or" I do not see that "when there is the biblical injunction before their eyes. It is unfortunate, and those who are so spiritually not go far, although many studies do Bible schools or programs of discipleship. Spirituality is not measured by a man who takes notes in school Biblical subjects, but how is broken before the Word of God and it shapes his life. Measured in humility, faithfulness and the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 1:7). How do you walk you, my friend in this matter? If the Word of God says to do or not do something, or give a commandment that you should apply yourself, are you willing to obey in spite of the beliefs or preferences that you had before, and despite the difficulty that you can assume? Israel, My Beloved
My delight is in it - Hephzibah - is the name the Lord gave to His ancient people. The sixteen hundred Prophets receive prophecies joyful blessing to Israel. The Lord Jesus wept over Jerusalem (not Tyre and Sidon) and tried many times together as a hen gathers her chicks. The Word of God instructs us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
some Israelis today are quite willing to sacrifice for the peace process. In contrast, others give their lives in murder suicide in order to sabotage that same peace.
We anticipate the coming of our Lord, encouraged by the events occurring in Israel. Our interests focus on the rapture in the Lord, His bounty, His bride, and wedding day. Surely His thoughts are also focused on this. But it also cared deeply about his beloved Israel. What the Scriptures say about the next seven years after the rapture?
Israelis born again, of course, rise in the clouds to be in the air with the Lord. Unfortunately, it is clear that these are only a small minority of 18,000,000 Jews living today. Soon the nation will make a covenant for seven years with the future world dictator, and begin construction of the temple. Today it is rumored that plans and preparations are being finalized, which means that construction will begin soon. He then will open the sacrifices.
Before the angels of wrath begin to pour out the judgments of the Tribulation, others put the name of the Father as a seal over 144,000 young men in Israel. Although the number 666 will never accept the man of sin, their lives will be preserved during the Tribulation. The Lamb will rejoice with them in Mount Zion, singing a new song that nobody else can learn (Rev. 14:1-5).
These young men are virgins and not them is no deception. They are without fault before God. Are the first fruits of the Tribulation period and follow the Lamb wherever he goes. The bride will also be with the Lamb, so that these young people will be to the bride as a partner.
Assuming that about 10% of the 9,000,000 males in Israel can be considered "young", the sixth of these are the 144,000. Unless our hopes for the second coming of the Lord are very wrong, it is likely that the 144,000 are very alive today. MONEY TALKS ... What does it say?
"Money Talks" is simply a modern version of the old proverb: "The money is used for all " (Ecclesiastes 10:19). It is the international language. Do you know some Japanese? No? But you know the word "yen." What about Hebrew? We all recognize the word "shekel". The same goes for "weight", "lira", "franc" and "deutchmark" but have disappeared and now everyone knows the word "euro". And yet that is, "dollar" and "pound." Travelers who can not communicate through the local dialect, they simply extend their portfolios ... and instantly, everyone understands! Money talks, but what dice? ALL OR NOTHING
Part II

For God the Son, through whom God the Father created all things, took the form of man and suffered on the cross as God's offering for sin, for our sins, God is now possible to justify, declare free guilt, because another has suffered in our place.
The sacrifice of Christ on the cross is something that also justifies God in His work aside and forgive us our sentence. Because it allows God to forgive us and still be just as we forgive.
There is absolutely no work on our part that may add to the work that Christ perfected and completed by us when he suffered "once" for our sins on the cross. He said: "It is finished" , which does not allow us to believe as the Roman Church teaches that still make the sacrifice needed to continue offering the Mass of Christ in a mystical and incomprehensible when he said: "It is "(John 19:30). The sacrifice and the work that was required on the part of our Savior were terminated once and for all 1,900 years ago when Jesus hung on the cross. Nothing you or I can do to add to what Christ has already done for our justification. Could
answer, then, saying: "It's true. All that's left to do our part is to believe and trust in Him for forgiveness. "
This is precisely where many fail in receiving God's forgiveness, because they understand that there is one more thing needs to be done before God is justified in forgiving our sins, but Christ died as the offering for our sins.
What is needed is a change of mind and heart of the rebel who enthroned himself as king or ruler in place of God. That rebel, it's you, must repent, get off the throne his life, and ask your Creator and Father to take the throne and reign as supreme ruler in your life.
This involves another theological term mentioned above, the word regeneration. In other words, we must be regenerated, "born again" as Christ said. We must become a life lived selfishly to a life lived in the will of God.
Even the work that is in our regeneration is something done by God. The surface can be reformed man - many have - but can not regenerate. However, the decision to surrender to God only can take us. No other being in heaven or on earth can make the decision for you. It is based on your sincere decision to surrender to Him that God forgives you and gives you the justification through Jesus Christ. Then you have eternal life, which God promises this: "If ye continue grounded and steadfast in the faith, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard" (Col.1: 23). Anyone who truly born again will be what this verse, because life is not a religious reform, but the very life of God.
Christ had much to say about this when he was on earth. Let to observe the things he said, one by one. I would like to invite you to look in the Gospel according to Mark 8:34-36.
